The Members Only area is restricted to members only and as such requires a login / password to access.

Members Only Access

When prompted for login details, this will be the name you supplied when asked for a suitable username. The username will be a Google account you already have.

e.g. if you used an existing Google account it could be for example badminton.ace@gmail.com, ace.player@hotmail.com. If you can't remember then contact the club secretary.

Calendar Subscription

By subscribing to the Club calendar all updates automatically show in your own calendar.

It is added in a similar way to adding the weather or Bank Holidays.

Basic instructions

Copy the link here: iCal link and add to your calendar of choice "by URL" "by iCal" or similar.

(Right click, "press and hold" or whatever magic key/mouse/finger combination you need to "Copy link address")

Google Calendar in web browser

Use the dropdown next to "Other calendars" --> Add by URL and paste the iCal link above.

or enter this ID: homesteadbc.co.uk_u6ov4su2i5v2pn4og83c50emtc@group.calendar.google.com in the "Add a colleague's calendar" box.

iMac Calendar (also updates iPhone/iPad if linked to same iCloud account)

Menu --> File --> New Calendar Subscription

In the popup window paste the iCal link from above.

In the options

leave the Location as iCloud and it will automagically appear on your iPhone

Change the Auto-refresh to be at least daily (I'd suggest hourly)

iPad (presumably iPhone similar)

Settings --> Calendar --> Accounts --> Add Account --> Other --> Add Subscribed Calendar

Paste the iCal link from above

Android Phone

It's easier to add the calendar on the web on a desktop BUT

(I was going to be helpful here but can't see how to do it in the Google Calendar app so you are on your own)

So, you'll have to use a mobile browser on your phone if you really can't wait until you are home.
